I just finished a tube of makeup, which is a very rare thing indeed. Because I am lucky enough to try out different products for my job (and because I am a VERY good customer at Sephora), it's seldom that I go through a tube of makeup. I am usually halfway through a product when I find a new favorite I convert to. So, you can imagine my shock when I went to put on my trusty complexion enhancer and it was almost gone. Goodness!
I keep JK Jemma Kid Mannequin Skin in my car for daily touchups, and I had no idea that I relied on it so much. Jemma Kid is a marvellous line of professional makeup and she recently launched an affordable version of her pro makeup line at Target (love, love, love Target). The quality of her products are superb. I have been using her Mannequin skin primer for awhile now, and mostly use it for daily touch ups when I am feeling dry and need a moisturizing, glowy boost to my makeup. It is sheer enough to use all over the face as a complexion enhancer, or you can use it as a highlighter on your cheekbones. It is super charged with Vitamin E, reflective pearl shimmers, and feels extremely silky on the skin. I have already gone out and bought my second tube.
Makeup Artist Tip: For a subtle summertime glow, mix the Mannequin Skin with your tinted moisturizer. Keep the tube in your purse, and use as a highlighter for mid-day touch ups on your cheekbones. The primer will keep your powder blush from becoming cakey, and will give your skin a dewy radiance.
