Get the Look: Kate Bosworth
Makeup Artist: celebrity makeup artist Amy Nadine for tarte
Overall Inspiration: "To compliment her hot pink Richard Nicoll dress, I opted for a simple and soft look to highlight Kate's natural beauty. I incorporated delicate pops of pink on her cheeks and lips."
Makeup-complexion
- To begin Amy applied tarte's smooth operator™ tinted moisturizer in agent 04 all over Kate's skin with a foundation brush.
- For the area below her eyes, she used tarte's new maracuja creaseless concealer in light.
- She then used tarte's smooth operator™ Amazonian clay finishing powder in bronze as a contour on the hollows of the cheek
Makeup-cheeks
- For a subtle glow, she used tarte's natural cheek stain in blissful, a warm peachy-pink, on the apples of her cheeks and along her cheekbones dusted tarte's Amazonian clay 12-hour blush in dollface for a hint of pink.
Makeup-eyes
- To ensure that her look lasted through the evening, Amy used tarte's lifted natural eyelid primer.
- Using the new tarte™ for True Blood™ limited-edition palette, Amy applied charmer (sparkling burnt copper/golden peach) in the crease and dawn (shimmering gold dust) all over the lid.
- For volume and separation on her upper lashes, Amy used tarte's gifted Amazonian clay smart mascara.
- To frame Kate's eyes, Amy used tarte's emphasEYES brow high definition eyebrow pencil in medium brown (one shade darker).
Makeup-lips
- To complete Kate's "pretty in pink" look, Amy used tarte™ LipSurgence lip tint in amused (bright pink) on her pout.

Wow amazing outfit! She is so creative! Colorful outfit! I love the way you paint it, awesome. I love the whole look. Amazing photo! She has such an angelic face. They should all have pockets inside front and back with zippers. I do not want a divided Tote which tends to reduce space and restrict access to items. Thanks for sharing with us.
First of all I would like to say superb blog! I had a quick question
which I’d like to ask if you don’t mind. I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your head before writing. I’ve had difficulty clearing my thoughts in getting my ideas out there. I do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or tips? Many thanks!
Thank you! I keep lists of blog posts using TeuxDeux.com. That way, when I am stumped I can look at the list, and connect with something.
Or, find a website that inspires you (pintrest) and spend those 10 min finding new ideas and pictures.
