Hi, I’ve been doing researches, and have had my own conclusions why women have the predominance of cancer / breast cancer.
In telling a friend when she showed me she put her perfume on her wrist or neck, I said to her, “and the inside of your wrist is thin skin which unknown chemicals are going directly into your blood stream.” Then said, “your dress is pretty, I’m sure you don’t want to stain it, but you can always get another pretty dress, but there isn’t another YOU.” I told her I love Sensuous by Estee Lauder, and although it might be pricey, I still spray it out into the air and walk into the mist, that way the smell is dispersed all over as well as on my clothing where it is not touching my skin, and as another couple of pluses my body chemistry doesn’t change the fragrance, and I do not inhale as I walk into the mist.” Since she lost her mother to cancer, and almost her sister, it made her more aware of what goes into our bodies – as women. i.e. makeup, cleaners, even soaps and detergents.
I have been a fan of EL products since I was a child and the line was relatively new. (I was born in 1959) Since my mother loved it I stood looking through the glass cases and couldn’t wait to grow up to wear the “pretty colors.”
I have friends who will wear anything, and some believe a primer is the solution, and I not only own and promote the concealer, I have began a YouTube channel in which I only will give away quality product. This months winner is a young girl who I randomly clicked on, and in watching her latest video I could see the disheartening look on her face as she said “Do you know how much of this I have already used, I probably already have cancer.” Aw, I was so happy the younger generation is aware and was happy to announce she won a safe and healthy set!
I just wanted to share that story, and say I’m glad your friend is in remission, and thank you for making this page, and others aware. -Kat
