Everyone says that the New Year is the perfect time to change up your routine, and give yourself a makeover. New year, new you!
So, why not change up your signature scent? Although I am usually not one to wear perfume on a daily basis, sometimes it is fun to switch things up and spritz myself up with a sexy new scent.
I recently tried out two new fragrances, and was impressed with the lingering scents and the way the perfumes enhanced my mood. Now mind you, my man doesn’t like the scent of perfumes (in his own words “I like the scent of clean sheets”….you heard that right; he wants me to smell like laundry), so my fragrance adventures are solely for my own personal enjoyment.
The first fragrance I tested was Sexual Sugar by Michel Germain. Mind you, every time someone asked me what scent I was wearing I had to stop myself from responding in my best Austin Powers voice “it’s Sexual, yah baby!" However, regardless of the name, this scent has become one of my favorites. It’s soft, subtle, and not overpowering. I usually stay away from floral fragrances but the base notes are warm enough that it works. This is a perfume that gets compliments.
Fragrance Type: Gourmand Floral

The next fragrance I tested was Inis Or. This perfume hails from Ireland is a musky, sexy scent that is perfect for date night (or for you ladies rocking the club scene). This scent is abit stronger than I am used to wearing, but I was impressed by the way the notes blended together and lingered on my skin. This is a great gift for someone who wants a unique scent that no one else will be wearing!
