Free People Festival Paint and Summer Makeup

2012_04_Free-People-Festival-PaintSummer concerts are already starting to blast thier way into town, and whatever concerts you are heading to this summer (Zac Brown Band!!) it is always a fun idea to get into the festival spirit and summon your inner music goddess.

Free people have created a very cool "Festival Paint"  in honor of the upcoming Cochella festival.  These brightly colored paints can be used on the face or body, and wash off easily with soap and water. These colors and paints absolutely put me in the spirit for summer concerts.

Along with their new paints, Free People has also included a look into their summer catalog, which promotes earthy, summertime colors and bright lips.  Their lead artist Deanna Hagen states  "For the desert festival setting I wanted to keep things very matte using more powder products, nothing too creamy.  I used earth tones that were rich in color, but summery… bronze, and reddish brown, adding in the bright neon lip as a pop color to give it a real ‘festival’ look. Its cool, earthy, polished, and fun!"

Here are the videos below.  Enjoy (and I will see you at the concerts this summer).
