Last night, I had the pleasure of meeting NARS Global Director of Artistry James Boehmer, who could haven’t been cooler.  Seriously cool.  We talked makeup and Fashion Week, and he let me in on the secrets of NARS artists, and that “they always want one piece of definition within the neutral palette. Here is the breakdown of the latest look he created for NYFW.  Enjoy! SHOW: TIM WEILAND

LEAD ARTIST: James Boehmer, NARS Global Director of Artistry

TREND: Strong brows and matte skin

LOOK: “We wanted to play up the colors in the collection without matching too much,” said Boehmer. “So we chose varying tones of blue to line the girls’ eyes with. The brows are extremely strong and graphic and skin is matte. A glossy textured lip balances the look.”
