Debby Ryan TeenVogue 10thAnniversary
Makeup and hair is a true expression when you are still in your teens. It is the perfect time to experiment with color, and different trends. The trick is still keeping it age appropriate and not over saturating your face with too much makeup. That is why I love the look created for Disney star Debby Ryan by makeup artist Elle Leary, and hairstylist Brian Magallones. It is fresh, young, and still gives her a dramatic look that all teens adore.

MAKEUP: By Elle Leary
”Debby is so adventurous with her makeup and we have so much fun putting together looks!! For this event we wanted her dress to stand out so we went with subtle eyes and a statement lip.”
SKIN:
- I used Diorskin Nude Foundation applied with a beauty blender.
- I used a sponge for her foundation because she likes coverage but wants it to still look natural, a damp sponge is the best for this.
- Then I applied Diorskin Bronzer and Shimmer Star in Rose Diamond to the apples of her cheeks.
EYES:
- I used Clarins Instant Light Eye Perfecting Base to help with the longevity of her makeup
- I then used Clarins Ombre Minérale Mono Eyeshadow in Aubergine.
- Her eye makeup was inspired by Twiggy because of the rounded shape of the shadow on her lid and the minimalist approach.
LIPS:
- Finished off with one of her signature lips, Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar in Memento, we are both in love with this color for her.
HAIR: BY Brian Magallones
- I started by running some Renee Furterer Mousse Vegetal through Debby’s damp hair, and then blow drying to get the moisture out and get some good volume.
- I then put a wave in her hair by using a 1 inch barrrel curling iron and wrapping the hair around the iron, without curling the ends, and alternating the direction of each section clockwise and counter clockwise.
- After putting a nice wave in the hair, I then brushed it out with a Mason Pearson brush
- I kept it looking great all night long with Renee Furterer Lacque Vegetal hairspray and finished it off with a light mist of Renee Furterer Glossing Spray for a healthy shine.
