For the Fall, the color Oxblood has been everywhere. Although the bright color might be intimidating at first, I have started to fall madly in love with it. The deep, aubergine tone can add a sophisticated sexiness to any makeup look.
Here are my tips:
- For an Oxblood lip: Leave the eyes neutral. Try a soft matte brown shadow, with a soft brown liner. Have the lips be the focus. Finish with a bronzer in place of your normal blush. This will warm up the face and compliment the deep color of the lips.
- For an Oxblood Smokey Eye: Try to focus the deep shadow near the lash line. Keep all the focus around the eye, and be careful not to extend the color past the crease. This will keep the look intense, yet sophisticated.
