Top Ten Tuesdays: Cream Cosmetics

Cream shadows are one of my favorite makeup tools.  They are easy to apply in a hurry, and provide long lasting coverage. When I am in a hurry, they are the first thing I grab for.  They are also amazing to layer under your favorite powder eyeshadow or blush to give yourself a long lasting coverage (I use this trick on all my brides!).  If you have oily skin, or are worried about streaking, look for the newest waterproof formulations (Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream is amazing). Below are some of my favorite products for the eyes, cheeks, and lips. Enjoy!

  1. OMG! I completely forgot about the Tarte rollerball! I love those and need to buy at least one again!

  2. I still have my Kevyn Aucoin cream blushes from the old packaging and use those. I haven’t seen the line in a long time so I wasn’t sure they still made them. They are great cream blushes.
Great choices. I thought I was the only one who liked Nars cream eyeshadows though – no one talks about them.
