I have a ton of reviews I am ready to bombard you with this week, but first things first. I must give a shout out to a great organization for makeup artists, and tell you about an amazing upcoming event in the Los Angeles area.
I have been lucky enough to call Michael DeVellis one of my mentors in the makeup industry. He created The Powder Group, which is an amazing resource for makeup artists. The powder group creates classes and events that allow new artists to interact, and learn hands on techniques from industry greats such as Billy B, and James Vincent. Michael also teaches classes on business development, and learning about the industry. I have relied on The Powder Group to keep me inspired and connect me with master artists in the field. Luckily, Michael and the Powder Group are bringing their famous Makeup Show to Los Angeles. This event connects professional makeup artists from around the country, and has an amazing line up on seminars, workshops, and hands on classes. This event will be extraordinary!!
The dates are March 15th, and 16th in Downtown LA. I hope to see you all there.
