Kiernan Shipka showed off her effortless look during New York Fashion Week giving makeup a whole new meaning. Without noticeable makeup, she pulls off a classy look that we should all try at least once! In focusing on the skin, and colorful lips, it’s as easy 1, 2, 3… 4, 5, 6.
This season’s New York Fashion Week has started off with a bang, and one of the first looks of the season comes straight from NARS cosmetics. I can honestly say that I love the easy accessibility of this look. A bright, vibrant lip paired with clean, glowing skin. Fall perfection! Another amazing thing….the new NARS Radiant Cream Compact Foundation. This foundation is in my current “love” list (review coming soon!).
This week is finishing up for me, as I jump on a plane back to California tomorrow. But, since I can no longer be at the shows, I can still watch them via Live Streaming from Glam. I must be honest, sometimes watching the shows from the comfort of your computer or television is better than battling it out with a feisty fashionista for a seat.
Trina Turk debuted at the tents yesterday for New York Fashion Week with a beautiful collection of luxe hats, layered pieces and chic dresses. The models sported a simple, chic low ponytail created by Martin-Christopher Harper for Cutler/Redken Salon.
Watch the video above to see how they created the looks, and see how easily you can recreate these simple and classic ponytails!
Bobbi Brown is one of the makeup lines that I often recommend to my clients, because of it’s simplicity and ease of use. I have never found a color, or palette that doesn’t compliment the person in my chair, or make them feel beautiful (without feeling overly made up). For this week’s New York Fashion Week, Bobbi Brown worked with her new celebrity face, Katie Holmes for her Holmes & Yang Fall Fashion Show.
