Tackle Eye Beauty Issues With Celebrity Tricks
From under eye circles to lashes that just won't behave, I constantly find myself tackling beauty disasters thanks to my baby blues. Since your eyes are usually the first thing people notice, you want them to look great. Take these simple tricks celebrity makeup artists use to ensure red carpet nights aren't a disaster.
Taylor Swift may not seem like she has under eye circles and for good reason. She uses the double conceal technique. Start with a concealer shade the same color as your skin tone to cover the darker tones of the circles. Next, apply a lighter shade under eyes and out across your cheekbones to brighten your eyes.
Boost Tired Eyes
I used to dread how my eyes would look after a few nights of little sleep. Now I regularly use a popular celebrity secret – topical Vitamin C. Massage it directly under your eyes or use an eye cream with Vitamin C. It actually helps repair the damage to reduce the look of bags and circles.
Andrew Sotomayor, a celebrity makeup artist, helps celebrities tackle their eyelashes to look stunning and more awake. Curl your lashes upwards to make them look longer and open the eyes. You'll look alert and beautiful, especially when you add a little mascara.

Beauty Essential: Concealer
By Laurie Drake for The Style Glossy
Concealer can be a girl’s best friend, especially after a night out sipping salt-rimmed margaritas. But even teetotalers can wake up with under-eye bags or dark circles – resulting from lack of sleep, fluid retention, hay fever or just the deep-set eyes you inherited from Mom and Dad. Dermatologists say the thin tissue around the eye is subjected to more stress than are other areas of the skin, making it one of the earliest problem areas for women.
theBalm – Time Balm Anti Wrinkle Concealer (Medium) – Beauty
I think the makeup gods have finally heard my prayers. Yes ladies, I have found a concealer you can sleep in, and that is actually good for your eyes. That’s right, I said it!
As many of you know I have battled with viciously dark circles all my life. It is the thing that forged my love of makeup, and my eternal search for the perfect concealer. While I have found many a wonderful cover up, I have always been frustrated that there was never a product that I could use at night, or on days when I want to go au natural (but not so natural that I reveal those dastardly circles!). I even embarrassed to admit that I am one of those girls who, when staying with my boyfriend, runs to the bathroom in the middle of the night to apply concealer so I look refreshed and circle free in the morning. Yep, I am that neurotic about my dark circles.
Therefore, I am so, so, so happy to announce that The Balm Cosmetics has created an amazing concealer that is a wrinkle fighting, overnight wearing wonder.
Bobbi Brown Tinted Eye Brightener
As most of you know, I have always struggled with under eye circles. Therefore I am perpetually on the lookout for the worlds best concealer! But, most recently I have started to get dry under my eyes (yes world, I am getting older! *sigh*). Luckily I found a new little jar of heaven. Bobbi Brown Tinted Eye Brighter is fantastic. And I mean really fantastic. This little jar has so many uses! The peach tinted eye cream is light enough to use in place of concealer, or can be used to refresh your concealer and add moisture to your eyes throughout the day (which is how I use it). The peach tint helps to counteract the blue undertones of dark circles, and the skincare benefits of the cream aid in dryness and puffiness.
